Spotlight Jonathan 'Ginger' Hamilton Jonathan "Ginger" Hamilton picked up his first pair of sticks at age 3. Now, at the age of 18 Jonathan is no stranger to the session world having worked the likes of Kelly Rowland, Mutya Buena, Don E, Lisa McClendon, G-Force, Yolanda Brown to name but a few. Coming from a Gospel background where Ginger developed his passion for music, he began to build a name for himself in the Gospel industry holding down the rhythm for top artists from the age of 14. This allowed him to work with artists such as, G-Force (MOBO winners), Jahaziel (MOBO nominee), Lisa McClendon (USA), Ron Kenoly (USA) and record for ABC, Ryan Carty and Clinton Jordon. Ginger is also working with the UK's top worship leader Noel Robinson and is to be featured on his forth coming album. Ginger is currently holding the hot seat for UK's next pop sensation VV Brown, which has seen him on support gigs with The Script and Sugababes. VV is starting her promotional campaign with various gigs throughout the country, on TV and Radio shows. Watch out for Ginger and VV Brown for 2009. Ginger currently plays on a ddrum Dios ST Kit in Purple/Silver/Purple finish with additional 12"x14" floor tom and 7"x8" rack tom. "My Dios ST is the way forward!  This years Drumfest 2008 tour promised to be the best ever and it didn't disappoint. Loading the Ddrum Tour Wagon with as much Ddrum goodness as is humanly possible we set of. Taking in Birmingham, Northampton, Sheffield and Brentwood in Essex along the way. Setting up for a show for the fans at these venues is very much a labour of love for us Ddrum UK people. Opening up the doors at our first venue in Birmingham proved just how popular Ddrums are with the drumming public of Great Britain. You guys and gals kept us busy from open to close at all the venues. Many of you went home from Drumfest with new gear. The Snares, Kits and Merch were all for sale and were some of the most popular items at the show. Ddrum endorsee Mike Terrana showed us all why he is very much in demand buy performing his world class Ddrum Clinic that brought the house down at Birmingham and Brentwood and left many a fledgling drummer feeling inspired. This Drumfest was the biggest to date and it is down to you the Ddrum fans that this event gets bigger every year. We thank you all for your continued support and we are looking forward to seeing what next years will bring!!
